Ingredients
1) Katla maach – 4-5 pieces
2) Gondhoraj lemon – 1
3) Ginger paste – 1 tablespoon
4) Green Chili paste half tablespoon
5) Yoghurt 300 grams
6) Onion paste – 4 tablespoon
7) Mustard oil 4 tablespoon
8) Ghee – 1 Tablespoon
9) Gondhoraj lemon leaves – 3
10) Whole spices – Green cardamom, cinnamon, cloves.
11) Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
12) Salt
13) Green chilies 3-4
14) Sugar 2 tablespoon
Recipe
- Blitz the yoghurt in a blender with the sugar and salt.
- Lightly fry the fish in mustard oil after coating them in salt and turmeric and a drizzle of mustard oil.
- Add ghee in the mustard oil, temper with whole spices and fry off the onion paste, first and then the ginger paste and chili paste.
- If the onion, ginger paste dries out add a splash of the blitzed yoghurt.
- Once the onion paste is cooked out, add the full blended yoghurt and bring it to a gentle simmer stirring it well.
- Add the lemon leaves and then the fried fish pieces. Give it a gentle stir.
